A script is at http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=3772&start=75, but how can one specify the range of rows and columns to be converted? ie A1:J40.

I suppose you could program a macro to...

  1. copy/paste cells A1:J40 into new spreadsheet document
  2. export new document
  3. close new document without saving
