I am using openoffice 2.0, apparently outlook express is being used for my email
I was uable to use spell check, because it was part of microsoft office application.
When I load Ms word , the spell check works, when I remove the spell check did'nt works again.

Can anyone assist , or given your opinion if openoffice applications purely stall, in winxp
how can you manage to let spell check works again for outlook express.

Thank You in advance Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Why should OOo be interfering with Outlook Express? It can't. Best thing to do if Outlook Express is misbehaving is uninstall it and install Thunderbird.

Outlook Express draws it's spell checking using CorrectSpell from Microsoft Office. If Office is not present, then OE cannot spell check. OOo uses MySpell so OE cannot use it.

So that's an allegedlly free program which only works fully when you've also got a very expensive pile of [excrement].

Just use Thunderbird.
