New to Oo and these forums and would like to customize Oo. Where does one set default row width, column width, font to use, etc. for ALL NEW spreadsheets? Also is there a file which stores the customized toolbar settings such as the XLB file in Excel, which can be copied to various computers so they all have the custom toolbars I would like to use? Or do I need to set them all up on each machine and then change each machine every time I make changes on one. Is there a doc which goes through and explains all this?
Thank you for any info provided!

You would need to create a default template:

Not a complete answer, but this should point you in the right direction:

Thank you James for your quick response. Haven't been able to try all the suggestions till today. The template solution worked fine. As well once I found where all the config files were stored from your second URL, I got all my config data moved to other computers no problem. As well found that if I only want to copy my toolbar changes you can just copy the xml files buried way down in C:\Documents and Settings\phil\Application Data\OpenOffice.org1.9.79\user\config\soffice.cfg\modules\scalc\toolbar for the respective toolbar. Just make sure you close the quickstarter and then restart and your toolbar settings have been updated.
Again thank you for your info.
