How can I install galleries in a multi user environment?

I have installed a gallery but it can be used only by me. All others see the gallery but cannot drag graphics out of it or view the different images in detail.

I have the same problem. We'll most likely be moving to OOo in our school enviroment, but things like these need to work before we can make that move.

I've tried creating a new gallery on a network drive, so I wont have to push it out to all the clients. This is also the preferable way if there's any adjustments to the galleries, since that doesnt have to be pushed out again.

Despite me using the same mappings and all, it refuses to work. I dont see why really... Also in my opinion it'd be better if I could use UNC paths instead of fixed mappings. Trying to do so results in Writer crashing. Now I dont know if this is just a bug, or if it's not supposed to work with UNC paths.

I've tried these things on each compiled build since 1.9.79 to 1.9.104.
