In maintaining my website, I use Adobe GoLive. However, because it's a site that mostly focuses on writing, I use OpenOffice as my word processor. (Having purchased and built a new computer, I wanted to see how well I could get along without MS Office - OpenOffice has performed quite well, but that's beside the point).

Typically, I type up a document up in my word processor, then do the ol' Copy/Paste straight into a GoLive .html document (I just feel better that way). However, having just completed the latest chapter, I copied, but could not paste into a GoLive page editor.

This could easily be because I've got my page set up as a table, yet I find very little reason why that would cause an adverse effect.

When trying to paste directly into the desired cell, nothing happens (using the text-editor feature in GoLive - little blinky cursor and whatnot). I backed out, and selected the cell as a whole, then tried to paste again. Instead of pasting within the cell, it created several rows of cells directly below the desired cell, each cell (going down, vertically) holding a single paragraph. Merging the cells wiped out all data except the first paragraph.

I then tried to paste, paragraph by paragraph into the desired cell. No dice, nothing happened.

After that happened, I opened up the OpenOffice html editor, and pasted into there - there was no problem with that. From the html editor, I tried to paste into GoLive. Nothing happened.

Ultimately, I ended up copying from the OO text editor into a new Notepad document, then into my GoLive document. That worked well, but it's awfully obtuse, especially when I could easily install MS Office and circumvent the issue entirely (and, of course, violate my principles, but it's not like anyone needs those).

Are there any fixes for this? Open Office is in its most recent stable build, and GoLive is fully updated (to the best of my knowledge). It's not a major problem, but given that about half of what I type ends up posted on the internet, it'd be really nice to get this issue fixed.

Any and all help is much appreciated. Many Thanks.
