WHen I start the calc program a little floating box shows up. It is just a little box with an X in the upper right, like the kind you could use to close it. But it will not close. You can resize it but the instant you let go of the mouse button it jumps back to its little bitty size. What is this? How can I get rid of it?
Thanks,

What platform and desktop environment are you under? The only really little window I can think of which is used in OOo is the Help Agent. Try disabling that in Tools > Options, General tab. Does it still happen then?
