Writer crashes after 1 minute

I've been working on a Writer document for the last week. It's pretty big at 500 pages. It was working perfectly up until today. Now after approximately 1 minute of opening it, it crashes. Arrrghhhh! What's going on? Any suggestions?

Maybe your user file has become corrupted. Reset your user profile. Click here for help how to do that. But make a back-up of your file first.
