|
|
I'm new to open office and I really like the look of it. I want to use it at my college instead of MSoffice but am having trouble making a network installation. I am using OOo_1.9.113_Win32Intel fom the Beta site.
I have followed all the instructions about using setup.exe -net but get an error message saying that there is an "Invalid command line arguement. Consult the Windows Installer SDK for detailed command line help".
I am about to install a new pair of servers running win2003 and upgrade all my workstations to XP Pro. and have been testing new-to-me software on my old NT4 SP6 and my new XP Pro laptop.
What am I doing wrong? |

Hi Mr. Hippo,
The latest Beta is 118, perhaps you could try that first. I haven't yet looked into Network Installation of the Beta versions, because they could be unstable.
The latest stable version is 1.1.4 for which you can find plenty of help here about Network installation. e.g. http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=18474
