Hi,

maybe anyone can help me out: I don't manage to export the transparency in my writer-documents into a pdf file. Does anyone know a workaround or solution to that? I tried it in OpenOffice 1.1.4 and 1.9.113, with sxw and odt files, but it does not work. I searched theforum, but no luck.

It's about a figure I created in Drawing. In two cases I use background-images for circles. One image is gif, one jpg. They both are bigger than the circle, but in Drawing it is no problem. If I export the figure from Drawing into a pdf-file, the transparency is just fine. But if I export it in a svm-file and insert it into a Writer document it still looks fine, but when exporting the text-document as pdf the transparency is gone in the target-pdf-file.
Anyone knows how to tackle that problem?
I am grateful for any hint.
Regards

Andreas.

Try the extendedPDF macro http://www.ooomacros.org/user.php#102785 . Seems to work now also with the beta. As far as I know is transparency handled correctly.
