I have mananged to connect to my database (tried different ones). It shows me the tables in the database, but when I tried to open a table I get a error:
"The data content could not be loaded.
The result set is closed"
and under more detail Error: 'SQL Status : HY000"
I use Firebird extensively from Delphi, but are new to JBDC(Jaybird) drivers. Is there any pointers to where I must start looking for the error/solution.
Windows XP Sp2
Java 1.5.0_04
Jaybird 2.0 beta2
Thanks

Today I wanted to migrate some documents with datafields from StarOffice 7 to 8. I've already a running connection between a Firebird 1.5 database and StarOffice 7. First I had the same problems while trying to connect StarOffice 8 and my Firebird 1.5 database. I tried to use JRE 1.5.0_06 and JayBird 2.0.1. This combination doesn't seem to work. The only working combination is JRE 1.4.2_06 with JayBird 1.5.6 JDK 1.4. The combination JRE 1.4.2_06 and JayBird 2.0.1 JDK 1.4 doesn't work too.
I know the reply is a little bit late but perhaps it helps somebody with this problem. |

I tried and found same errors.
Now I connected to my database through ODBC 1.2.1 driver and works. |
