second time that open a office application ooo frezes

The problem only happens in 4 computers that we have. they are all P4 HT with assus motherboard and ati radeon graphic cards in a Windows XP Pro SO.
The problem is that when we start OpenOffice for the first time, all is ok. Them if we close the application and start again the OpenOffice freezes. sometimes when we launch a second office application, OpenOffice work again, but not always. this happens from version 1.3 to 1.9.118.
I notice that in this computers the quick starter is closed each time we close OpenOffice applications, but the process soffice.bin still active.
I have all the drivers updated.
Any ideas ?
