Hi, I would like to create a custom bullet set in the outline format like the one in the the bottom right hand in the Outline tab in OpenOffice. How would I be able to go about that?
Thanks. |

You can choose your own characters from the Options tab.

Yeah, but is there a way to create a custom set. Let's say I want to keep the default and create another style. How would I go about that? |

Create your custom set, then with the cursor in one of the items, open the "Styles and Formatting" window, click the "List styles" button, then using the rightmost button (this applies to version 2, in version 1.1 buttons are slightly different) select "new style from selection", provide a name, e.g. Custom Bullets, and press Enter. This consolidates all your settings in a List style, that you can use anywhere in your doc.
To apply it, do not use the "bullet on/of" button on the formatting toolbar. that one can only apply the build-in default style. Instead, double-click your custom numbering style in "Styles and Formatting". |
