|
|
Hi all,
I have a particular cell in a spreadsheet which no matter how I format it, enters a date value when you type in the number "2" any other number works fine, when I type 2 it autocompletes with a date then when I hit enter it converts the date into a number (38590 to be exact)
the locale settings look ok and I tried disabling all the auto correct features but nothing seems to work.
suggestions anyone? |

Better you than me How about a brute force approach? Delete the cell and insert a new one. It might work. _________________ jrkrideau

Select the cell
Choose Format > Cellformat on the Numbers tab select Text under Category
should do the trick
