No, no, this type of situation is exactly why the designers and programmers supplied us with Calc.

Bhikkhu Pesala,
It would be nice if your simple solution (characters - words) worked but the character count includes many "printing" (black) characters that are not counted as words. As a simple example try something you might see here, "Do Insert > Frame". The ">" is counted as a character but not as a word. |
