Hi -
Love Open Office. Many thanks to all who contributed their time.
Is it possible to setup the screen with a white text on blue background, a'la the old WP?
thanks

You can certainly do it via the Windows Desktop Properties, Appearance tab, but that will apply to all applications, not just Open Office. I already have Black text on a Cyan background as I find brilliant white a bit tiring for long periods of reading. _________________ Fonts * Opera * Oo Tips * FAQ * New Forum

You may create a writer file with all properties you like, save it under a destinctive name as a template and then define this template as your own personal default template for witer docs.
Make a serach on this forum for default template and you will get lots of hits on how to do it. |

In Tools - Options - Appearance you can set the color of the "Document background". Set that to Blue and in one second you are back in the early nineties (where we had our first EGA color screens and just switched from Wordstar 3.5 to Wordperfect 4.0 ) |
