|
|
I'm running RH 9, which has a 1.02 version of OO. I've downloaded and successfully installed (I think) OO 2.0 RC1. It's located in /opt/openoffice.org2.0. It appears to have all the 6 folders & files.
How do I launch the app? Is there some sort of setup that I'm missing. I've installed on a XP box, and 2.0 looks very cool, I'd like to get it working on my Linux box.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Mark |

Did you install the redhat rpm from the integration directory? This should give you menus.
I am not sure if the menu format has changed since RH 9. If it has, you will have to add it yourself. You should have a /usr/bin/openoffice.org-2.0.
I like using the keyboard, so I usually type ALT+F2 (to bring up run application) and then type openoffice.org-2.0 (Gnome completes it automatically). |

I knew it must have been something simple - installed the Red Hat integration and it works great!
Thanks so much for your help,
