Runtime Error- Abnormal Termination

I'm sorry if this is an old problem. I am a new user of OO 2.0.

After being open a few minutes the program always crashes with a Visual C++ "Runtime Error" "Abnormal termination ..." Again this happens every time.

I found someone with the same problem using 1.9. The exact error message is reproduced in that thread:

But no solution was offered. Contrary to the one response there I do think it has something to do with the auto save feature.

After the crash, do you see a dialog that allows you to report the crash? It looks similar to these:

Does this problem happen with a certain document?

You may want to submit this as a bug (defect) to the Issue Tracker. I looked and did not see a very similar issue.

When you make your bug report, mention:

1. Your version of Windows
2. Your version of OpenOffice.org
3. Whether "After being open a few minutes the program" means you are using the program or it is idle.
