Hello,
I did search the forums prior to posting. Please forgive me if this answer is already available.
When I create a new document it seems that a “new instance” of OpenOffice.org Writer begins.
I would like to be able to create a new document without a “new instance” of OpenOffice.org Writer opening. Is this possible?
For example some text editors let you open multiple documents and only 1 instance of the text editor is open on screen. I can tab through the documents to decide which to edit.
Thank you. _________________ St. Augustine of Hippo Quotes:

Open Office uses a single document interface so you cannot do that.
Why does it matter how many icons you have on your taskbar? When you're using the program you don't need to use the taskbar. Hide it and use the Window menu in Open Office to switch documents. _________________ Fonts * Opera * Oo Tips * FAQ * New Forum
