Convert .odt to .pdf from the command line in linux?

Is it possible to run tasks with OOo via the command line in linux?

I'd like to convert .odt files to .pdf files via the command line, and I haven't found a good application to do this just yet.

I'm thinking I could use PHP to grab data from the user, put it into a .odt file, then convert that to .pdf, all without worrying about the tedious layouts of PHP genereated .pdf files. (And Adobe's FDF only works about 70% of the time...)

Well, apparently this page shows how to connect to it in Windows via python, but I'd like to be lazy and connect to it via PHP... is that still possible?
