Hi,

I have had my users save documents on a network drive and recently openoffice started to have its documents corrupted, which leads to documents being non-recoverable.

The exact error is:

Read-Error,
Format error discovered in the file in sub-document styles.xml at 2,2745(row,col).

this appears randomly, I wouldn't know what might be causing this.

Thanks.

I can't tell you what the cause is. But here are a couple of methods to recover the corrupted files:The last two have step-by-step instructions that were successful for others with this problem.
