I think it is a french grammar rule to insert a space before ? ! ; and : I however, am trying to use the program in English. Nonetheless, ending a sentence with those punctuation marks above causes Writer to insert a space before my punctuation, which I can then go back and delete.
I cannot find a setting in options to deactivate this feature and my language settings appear to be in English in the options menu. Anyone know the way to fix this? |

This feature is not activated by default, you need to use the extension I think. So the only fix is to deactivate the extension when writing in English or to add a button that stops the listener and another one to reactivate it on demand. See here for more information: [Writer] Espaces insécables avant ponctuation. _________________ Now on the EN user community forum |
