Hi everyone
I have a long technical documentation (about 180 pages) and would like to restart page numbering at each new chapter. This means:
chapter 1.1: pages are numbered 1-1-1, 1-1-2, 1-1-3 etc.
chapter 1.2: pages are numbered 1-2-1, 1-2-2, 1-2-3 etc.
etc.
This is possible by inserting page breaks, choosing a page template and activating "change page number" to restart page numbering and then inserting a field "chapter number" and another one "page number".
But how about the different tables, eg. table of contents, table of graphics etc. How can I insert the hole page number (1-1-1)?
Does maybe someone have a macro that goes through the document, creates these tables and inserts eg. before each "Heading 1" and "Heading 2" a page break?
Thank you for your help!
