At one time I had versions 1.1.4, 1.1.5 and 2 on my computer. I decided to just use version 1.1.5 and uninstall the other versions. Now all my previously saved documents are listed as staroffice documents. I still have access to all of my files, only now instead of just clicking on a file I have to open the file by first running writter, draw or calc. Not really a big deal, I'm just wondering why this happened.
I do believe I created all of my documents using v1.1.4, but I'm sure I updated some of the documents using v1.1.5.
thanks for any input |

This probably has to do with the last OOo version you installed which would have been associated as the program to open various OOo files.
Go the the 1.1.5 installation directory, try running Setup and selecting Repair which should reassociate OOo file types to 1.1.5.
Hope this works as it's my best guess. |
