Hello readers,
I just installed OOo2 on my gentoo box. When starting it the first time, the setup wizard came. I could not read any of the texts because it used a symbol font.
Now after blindly clicking the next until it disappeared, the program itself started with correct fonts.
I looked into the options, and set "Use system font for user interface" in OOo/View. After clicking "ok", I got the unreadable symbol font from the installation back. Luckily I remembered what option I set before, so I could go back blind.
Now I would have put that under "strange problems" and forgot it, if I haven't had to add kprinter to the printer list. When starting oopadmin2, I have the odd font again and still can't read it. Here is a screenshot:
Now after some trying, I found out that is is the "Cursor" font. Because other programs use it, I can't remove it from the font path.
Is there anything I can do? Set an option for the default interface font for all OOo programs?
Thanks for reading,
Christian Weiske
