Open a blank writer file. Within this document hit F4, this opens the data window.
On the left will be a list of your registered databases. Open the one containing the table. grab the table icon, on the tree in the left of the window and drag it to the blank sheet. You will be prompted as to what you want to import, in this case a table. You can choose an group of fields, with a button for all of course. Do so, the data is nicely formated into a table and you just print it...voila!
When I fist looked at Base I had the same thought you did..."What no damn print function !@##$"...but I had to change my mind set and remember that Base if part of a monolithic application, not a seperate application.

I will try it...thanks.
Ok I did it...but it does not look exactly like the one I did on base..The colums look all messed up and out of order.
The Social Security number field...the numbers look like this:
123-45-
6789
Instead of like this:
123-45-6789
How can I correct the problem using that blank sheet?
Because it looked OK when I created using BASE/Tables.... |

I think you have three ways to go then.
Booklady is correct you can do the same thing with Calc and then format the columns as you like, you can also rearrange the columns of course.
Second - when you drag the table onto either a Writer page or a Calc sheet the dialog allows you to order the columns. The columns are displaed in the available list in Alphabetical order, if you move them over with the all columns button they remain such. If you want to order them yourself, you need to move then into the selected list individually. Once the table is displayed you can select columns and set number formats as you desire.
Third - and perhaps this is what I should have mentioned in the previous post. Just use the report wizard. It is limited, but if all you want is to print a table then it will assuridly do what you want.
Granted it would be nice if you could just drag a table to the printer icon and have it spit out...with default column formats set...
