|
|
I am enjoying OOO 2.0. I really haven't gotten used to the idea of seeing my most recent documents listed under File/Recent Documents. Is there any option or way to put this list at the bottom of the File menu? THis is where my eye naturally looks for them when I want to open up a document I've worked on recently. _________________ Paul |

Tools>Customise....>Menus tab, click on RecentDocuments entry and move it to your place with the arrow button down.
Does this help? _________________ Cheers

I don't know of any way to do this. I agree it would be better to have the recent files list directly on the main menu rather than on a submenu. _________________ Fonts * Opera * Oo Tips * FAQ * New Forum

Probe, what I want is to have the recent documents used, listed on the File menu itself towards the bottom, and not simply moving the Recent Documents sub-menu down to the bottom. I would like not to have these documents extend out toward the right, and instead, simply have them listed at the bottom of the File menu, as in MS Word and like I said, pretty much every other word processing program I've used. Going to Tools/Customize/Menus will only allow me to move that Recent Documents sub-menu--but I will still not be able to get the list of documents to be read on the File menu itself. Thanks anyways. _________________ Paul

Yes, I thought you'd like the recent documents listet at the bottom of the menu, but wasn't sure.
Sorry - no way, to my knowledge.... _________________ Cheers
