My os is Gentoo . Yeaterday ,I emerged openoffice .After that I find I can't type Chinese. I can't change the interface language to chinese . What shall I do to solve the problem?

You need to install the zh-cn language pack. You should be able to find it from here:
http://zh.openoffice.org/index.html

There was no need for the sticky status.

Do you have SCIM installed for inputting in Chinese?

I know how to solve that problem. I added a parameter in the /etc/make.conf . And now I can type chinese .
