I opened a Word doc in OO2 and the first page number in the header is always 32. I've tried everything I can think of to get rid of it. Where in the heck is it? Here is the file:

Maybe some kind soul will download it and let me know where the page number is hidden?

Thanks,
Al

There's a discussion somewhere on the forum addressing this. Do a search/Google for changing page numbers openoffice. But here's my tuppence worth.

On title (Chapter Two) of page one right-click and choose Paragraph. Choose Text Flow tab. Select Insert, (page) select With Page Style (Default, according to your document) set Page Number to 1

I've not used this more than once so you might have to experiment but hope it helps.

When you do, you'll see that the page number is manually set to 32.

Uncheck Breaks > Insert and all should be well.

BTW, this may be useful for future reference: http://www.8daysaweek.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34
