OpenWriter2.0.2, WinXP. AutoRecovery every 5 minutes. File .odt with heavy formatting (columns, tables, pictures, paragraph borders, Arial 7 bold and italics etc.). When number of pages exceeds 60 or so, autorecovery seems to be working (I can see the string of small squares in the bottom of the screen), but it does not save new information. When I press the Save icon, every portion of new information is saved correctly. Is it a bug? Do developers of the program know about the case? Did somebody meet something similar? Or what it may be?

Large documents are more likely to cause instability with any word processor. At that size of a document, it will be safer to save it as seperate documents and then use a master document to combine all of them. Have you used Styles throughout? That may be a may of simplifying the document as direct formatting does generally bloat files and would therefore make problems like this more likely.
