|

There are some big differences in Calc filtering between the Windows and Linux releases.
It seems that Cascading Filters are implemented in the Linux version of OOo2.0.0 (specifically openoffice.org-core2.0.0-4 on debian), but not in Windows 2.0.1
Cascading filters explained
Example Spreadsheet:
Filter Options in Windows:
Filter Options in Linux:
As you can see in the above screenshots, I'm filtering Header1 to show only the 111 entries.
If I then click the drop down filter options on Header2, under windows it still shows the entire set of column data.
Under Linux it shows the subset of the column data, based on the filter from Header1. There are also "empty" and "non-empty" options which aren't available in the windows filter options.
Does anyone know how I can enable this Linux behavious in the Windows version? |

| The only reason I can see without investigating the source code, is that the Debian packages have added a quick patch that has not been integrated into the main source distribution as yet? |
