|
|
Hi, I've been using .base long enough to get fed up with its database wizard when I open .base.
The thing is it has a list of my recent documents and I can select the one I want, but it doesn't open it... and if I click on open I have to go through the pollava of finding the right file in the right folder.... it'd be nice for that bug to be fixed, but in any case I prefer the good old file open or recent files option.... but how can I turn off that wizard? |

Hmm I normal don't see it.
When you create a new database have to do the wizard. To setup the database so that there is a database or a connection to a database.
I have database links on my desktop Click and open no wizard. A work around
Or use recent documents from a Writer or Calc document.
Strange recent documents normal works for me as well.
I think you have a feature request to fill out. Next version/s I hope. |

The wizard opens, you choose the radio button for 'Open an existing database file'. The drop down list of recent files is active. You select a database form that list. You then click on the 'Finished' button. Not the Open button.
Does this not open the database for you? _________________ Blog - http://baseanswers.spaces.live.com/ |
