Hello everybody! I am new to OO and I was wondering if there is a way (programming included) to generate a report from a program to OO Writer.

I have an application that utilizes COM / DCOM and generates the report to Word. I am trying to expand the app and generate reports to OO Writer as well.

Any ideas on how to do this? SDKs, API Calls, COM for OO. Anything?

Thank you in advance.

This can be done using the API. You should have a look at the examples available in the developers guide (http://api.openoffice.org/docs/DevelopersGuide/Text/Text.xhtml).
