Have been using OO 1.1.4 and now installed OO 2.0 but cant find the 3D settings where I can change illumination, shading, geometry etc for 3D objects. Where is that 3D earth globe 'Favorite' now?
How can I change material and get flat shading? |

Do you see a little box that looks like a 3D box? If so, click that and you should see the 3D settings.
You can also go to View-Toolbars and then select the 3D toolbars. If the toolbars disappear when you close Draw, follow the new-toolbar making instructions at http://www.murtari.org/favorites/downloads/OpenOffice/tutorials/Draw/toolbars.htm
Just alter the instructions to suit your needs.
Hope that helps! _________________ Domenic

I dont have the 3D box in my default toolbars but can open it fron View > Toolbars . The thing isd that it is greyed out even when I have a 3D object (torus or whatever) selected.
Oh I just found what I wanted (the 3D Settings are still greyed out) Right click and select '3D Effects'!
Hooray (see if they are better than in 1.1.4! |

Right-click on an object, convert it to 3D, then right-click again and the're in that menu. _________________ Rabbits. Nature's little speedbumps.
