I have a PowerPoint document that I open with impress that has outline numbering spanning several slides, 6 slides total with 14 level 1 numbering and level 2 with bullets for each level 1. I've gone through each slide and told it what number to start with via the 'Start at' option under the Bullets & Numbering / Customize tab. Save the document, close and re-open and it reverts to a starting number of 1 for each page.
I'm using XP SP2, with OOo 2.0.1 in case anyone is wondering. I could also provide a screen shot if this doesn't make sense.
Edit: I think I can show what I'm talking about with just text. It looks like the following,
<Page 1>
1 Heading 1
* bullet 1
* bullet 2
2 Heading 2
* bullet 1
* bullet 2
3 Heading 3
* bullet 1
* bullet 2
<Page 2>
1 Heading 1
* bullet 1
* bullet 2
2 Heading 2
* bullet 1
* bullet 2
Now, even when I change the starting number to 4 for page 2 so that it reads 4 & 5, when I close and reopen the document, it goes back to what I show above. |
