|
|
Hi all,
Something really boring me with OpenOffice CALC.
With filter and standard filter above cells, there is no request to sort column using term "CONTAIN" but only "=" "<" ">" etc.......
So I have to play with generic letters like: ? . *
If I forget a space or a ".", it return anything in result !!
Its really difficult and ancomfortable to use.
Is there another solution more simple ??
Thanks for help

I'm sure there's some advice on the forum on this subject from the more experienced users. Try a search.
I think the filter is not as easy as in Excel, but I haven't used it much yet in Calc. |

You're Right
I finally found this, searching in 459 results from my criteria....
| Quote: | The solution is to go Tools >Option> OpenOffice.org Calc > Calculate and remove the check mark against "Search criteria" = and <> must apply to whole cell" option.
Now the filter works perfectly. |
And it's resolve my problem
Thanks for your help !! |
