This is definitely weird. I added the printers on CUPS and it's not even registered in OOo. This is a major problem and it's the biggest problem why I can't migrate to BSD at all. Office road block. Please help!

This is urgent, I need to print to the printer. Also, this connection is to my parent's machine and not mine.

I'm currently running PC-BSD 1.0 rc2

As it is that help files are constantly ignored, even in urgent cases Wink

Help yourself. Take a look at the OOo help file. It explains thoroughly how to add printers on Unix. Call "Help" -> "OpenOffice.org Help". Switch to the tab "Index" and enter "printers" as "Search term". Now select "adding, UNIX".

If you have trouble with the help file, locate your OOo installation file, change there to the subdirectory "program" and call "./spdamin". Here you can add printers and fonts. I have no idea where OOo is installed on "PC-BSD 1.0 rc2", but it may be "/opt/openoffice.org2.0" or "/usr/lib/openoffice" or something like that.

With kind regards
