|
|
Hello
I have recently made the switch from Windows to Linux, running Ubuntu 10.04.
After playing with different themes, my horizontal and vertical scrollbars in OpenOffice have disappeared. Scrolling with the mouse middle button and keyboard still works perfectly.
The scrollbars area is just empty, figuring what's in the background of it, as if it were really "empty". Clicking over it does nothing.
Help please ? Thank you! |

First of all, check in Writer whether you did not happen to deactivate the scrollbars: Tools - Options, OOo Writer View, Horizontal scrollbar and vertical scrollbar.
If these are indeed checked, but you do not see them, try turning them of and back on. If you still do not see the scrollbars, try restarting the system. If they still do not appear, then it might be a problem with the theme you are using: see whether the problem persists with the default Ubuntu theme or another theme.
It is not unlikely that the particular theme you use is causing the problem. _________________ --

That's Tools>Options...>OpenOffice.org Writer>View you need to go to. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.6 on Fedora 18, LibreOffice 4.0.2 on Ubuntu 13.04 (Double Boot) |

Thanks for the help guys.
Turns out it was the "Wasp-Murrine" theme behind it.
It's a shame because it's a nice theme. Is there a place where I can report this bug ?
Have a good day |
