Hello,
I am a new mac user, and relatively new open office user.
I have followed the installation instructions, but whenever I start the program I get the registration screen no matter what I enter. It ruins my workflow to have to go through these screens. How do I remove it?
Is there a way to hide the x11 console window?
I use: Mac OS X 10.4.5 - java 1.5 - X11 1.1 - Open Office 2.0

Some of those links only refered to you refering more links. Very nice... Anyway search function on phpBB is useless unless you are familiar with forum terminology, which is why newbies like me ask questions like this.
I did not have any problem installing on WinXP, but from one of your previous answers it seems to be an error in install. Is there some sort of bugtracer here?

my problems where solved by installing neooffice instead. Not that open office isn't great - I've had great experineces from WinXP, but I don't think the mac part is quite catered for.
