Had a look before posting and didn't find exactly what I was looking for.
I've been sent a PowerPoint presentation and have imported into Impress. It opens fine and I can run a slideshow fine. The person who created the presentation did so with virtually every aspect of every page transitioning in (first a title background, then part of the title, then the rest of the title, then a GIF image, then another GIF image, then the first line of the body text, etc.). I've tried to get rid of all this using the Slide Transition function in the software but to no avail. Can anyone provide any hints?
Thanks in advance. |

Hopefully you already have a solution, but... seeing no responses.
I don't think these are transitions, transitions are between slides, if individual elements are coming in at different times I believe you might want to look at animations. (Slide Show - Custom Animations...)
Just a suggestion. _________________ Ron from Iowa, USA |

| Thanks Ron. I did find the solution when I downloaded v2 of OO. With v2, everything was very easily found. If the functionality existed in v1, I couldn't find it. |

Ah, at this point in time I had made an assumption you already had version 2.x.
In the future, it does help when you include version information, operating system information, etc.
Glad you are up and running. _________________ Ron from Iowa, USA |
