Hi guys,
I hope someone out there can help me.
Following problem: Everytime I start my PC and then Math or Writer and want to write a formula, I have to change the fonts in the editor.
I always click on the "Standard"-Button then, and the fonts will stay "for the session", but when I start my PC again, I have to do the same procedure with changing the fonts.
So my question: Is there any possibility to set up the fonts in the formula edior so they will stay this way forever?
bye

I don' t really use Math but typically this problem with Writer is a matter of changing the default template. I would guess that the same thing might apply for Math
Have a look at OOo 2.0.x User Guide
http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/oooauthors2/index.html
at the Style and Templates chapters. And good luck ! _________________ jrkrideau

Natalie,
What you do should work. Do other customizations in OpenOffice work? |

Hi,
thanks for your help so far.
@jrkrideau: I will have a look at that guide. Thx
@yuki: Other customizations work great, except for the forumula editor. That's very strange. _________________ Really rich is, who's got more dreams in one's pocket, than reality can destroy. |

By "standard" you mean "Default"?. I changed the default fonts in Math before without a problem. The steps are: inside a Math object, Format -> fonts, then select the desired category under "Modify" -> select the font -> OK, and finally press the "Default" button.
One thing to try after those steps is to save the document: sometimes, font changes in Math are lost if you don't save. |

Hi,
yeah "Standard" means "Default". I followed all your steps, but it doesn't work. I saved the document and when I started my computer again, the changes I did were gone.
Is this normal? Because all other changes I do, will be there, after the next start.
Very weird. _________________ Really rich is, who's got more dreams in one's pocket, than reality can destroy. |
