Hello,

I recently installed OpenOffice Writer. So far, I haven't had any problems. Today, I printed out a document and all capital Umlaute (,,) did not have the dots on top of them.
How can I solve this problem?

Thanks for your help!
Bodo

Tell us more!

Which OOo version?
Which operating system?
Which font or fonts?

Your problem never occurred to me on Windows XP with OOo 2.0.x and OOo 1.1.x and the Windows TrueType Fonts (Arial and Times New Roman for example).

With kind regards

Vielen Dank fr deine schnelle Antwort! Anscheinend hatte es etwas mit meinem Drucker zu tun. Die Patrone ist fast leer und bei einem zweiten Versuch habe ich Anstze von Punkten ber den Umlauten erkennen knnen.
Vielen Dank!
Gru, Bodo

It looks like the problem in this thread Open Type fonts with Postscript Type 1 outlines. Change to TTF fonts and there should be no problem.
