I've got manual breaks inserted into my document, but I can't see them. I've checked the View options and there doesn't seem to be any place that says page breaks.
Does Writer support this? |

Page breaks are indicated by a thin blue line at the top of the text-area of the new page. This is quite hard to notice unless you're already familiar with it. You must also have "View->Text Boundaries" selected. You can make them more visible if you change the line colour to something like bright red. To do this, click "Tools->Options->OpenOffice.org->Appearance->TextDocument->Page and Column Breaks" and select a different colour (light red seems the most visible to me).
Now, create a new text document, hit Ctrl-Enter to create a manual page break and the red line should be obvious at the top of the new page.

This thin blue line is hopeless; especially if your eyes are tired and you are scrolling through many pages.
Support this issue, so we can get a decent page break indicator:

| I hadn't even realize there was an indicator. It was black on my system and practically invisible. I changed it to light red which made it easier to see. |
