| I am having a problem with the color of the text in open office writer. It is automatically blue when I want it to be black. When I go to tools/options/colors I can change the text to black, but when I create a new document it is blue again. Is their any way to change the default color for the text? Thank you. |

Try Tools > Options > Openoffice.org > Appearance
Change the font color to "Automatic" in the General section. If that doesn't work, then the font color has been set in a template which would need to be edited. |
