Hi,
I use the Open Office suite and it works very good.
But one thing is missing. What I need is a MS-Outlook substitute thet has the follwing options:
An e-mail client
Calendar
Tasks
And one more option. At MS-Outlook when I send to someone an appoitment request and he or she accept it, that appointment automaticly writen to his or her calendar. And if someone send me an appoitment request and I accept it that appoitment is automaticly writen to my calendar.

Is there a sofware that can meet my needs?

Thunderbird with the calender extension seems very popular.

Thunderbird with calendar is not a real substitue; the calendar is in v0.3 and thus in an early stage of development.

I kept Outlook.

If you are running Linux, Novell Evolution is supposed to be a very good Outlook replacement. Unfortunately, they don't have a Windows port for that program yet.

Hi,
If you are on linux, you can use kontact (kmail). Kmail is the best in linux ( stability, features, connectors,...) . Evolution is not stable.
it has all features like outlook
in windows, you can use thunderbird with the lighting extensions and then use a shared calendar.
But, note that the lightning extension is in development and not stable yet.

there's also the project chandler (osaf), have a look
