Hi All,
I've just installed OpenOffice.org 2.0.4 at my office.
We using network printer to print documents in our daily works.
But after we use OO, the network printer cant be used. We can print from the OO , but the result is nothing.
We use Windows XP Profesional for both PC ( the PC where the printer installed and the PC where the document located ). The printer is HP 1010. We are not using wireless network and the LAN works well ( we can ping each other ).
Can anybody help me? this issue happens everyday so our IT operational division are very busy going around our office just to check the printer. Usually the problem will fixed after we restart the PC where the printer installed, or both were restarted.
Can anybody help me, please.....
P.S. : sorry if my sentences' structure look strange. English is not my native language. |

I think you said:
Everything works great. You can run any program and print to the network printer, run another program, print to the network printer, etc...
You run OOo, but do not print, and everything is still fine.
You run OOo, you print, nothing comes out, and nothing can print to the printer.
Is this correct?
I assume yes.
First, have you run spadmin to configure your printer? Have you printed a test page?
If nothing prints from OOo, then the printout is probably "stuck" somewhere. Does the printer show that a print job is recieved when you try to print? _________________ --
