Open Office relative path vs. hard coded path

gentlemen & ladies,

for some reason being tired tonight, and wanting to get this to work. I had to concentrate on an email exchange in the OO mail list, concerning this topic. And this topic was referenced as well.

I followed the instructions again, and in order (I think I was trying to add out of order, though I don't recall), and everything was entered and accepted, as per the help given.

Once I modified the (test) files I was trying to get to work, everything worked/updated as advertised.
