|
|
Im trying to create a template for my standard stationery.
The first sheet has a picture header at the top and some footer text.
This has been created as a Page style called Header page, and includes various paragraph styles etc.
When I create the next sheet however as a consequence of typing, it to is created in the page style of Header page.
I modified this to Default, and checking under the Insert menu ensured that Default was not ticked as having a footer.
The problem occurs however, in the change to Default page style. It changes the previous page to Default (Header page - the one that wants a footerl) and the footer for that page subsequently disappears!?
In short... help.
PS - I have trawled the forum for a solution elsewhere but to no avail. |

| Assuming that the Header page style is to be used only for the first page and will always be followed by a "Default" page, you need to modify the Header page style so that the next page will have the Default page style. With the document open on the first page, double click "Header" in the status bar. This opens the Page Style dialog. Click the Organizer tab and change "Header" to "Default" in the Next Style box. |

Thanks very much. Im afraid I was caught up in a maelstrom of dialogue boxes, and the obvious answer, slipped right past me.
Thanks again Bill. |
