Hi

I am getting the same problem,

cannot find msvcr70
cannot find msvcr71
cannot find uwinapi
cannot find jawt

Can you please help me how to solve this problem?

i ran into this problem once .

though i am not great at programming ... what i found while searching might help u ....
when u add the open office related jar files into ur java application .. it looks for other files
like uwinapi.dll .

so if u have added the jar files from a location other than the installtion directory/path of the open office installation ... ur application wont be able to find the dll files ....

so add the Open office related jar files from the installation folder itself ...

there may be a better way than this .. if u find one .. pls do inform me .

i got it to work in open office 2.4

but recently i downloaded open office 3.0 and installed it .. Now the method i said above does not work . I think it is because of the new folder structure used by the open office.

if any one finds a solution for this pls share the information
