|
|
Hallo all,
I've made a presentation in OO2.0 under SUSE Linux. The presentation uses some PP template created under Win. With OO i can view and edit the presentation with no problems.
If i open the same presentation in PP97 under Win i see the layout of the slides, by the information is gone (the number of slides in the presentation opened in PP97 is the same as in OO, but no text and no pictures).
In OO the presenation was saved in MS PP 97/2k format. It was also edited in the same format in OO with no problems.
Thank you for any help that could possibly solve my problem! |

Which SuSE version?
Which OOo version? SuSE users use quite often out of date betas. Did you try to update with YAST?

Do you use Fonts which windows doesn't know?
With kind regards

Currently i use SUSE 10.0 with OO 2.0 (Novell Edition).
Trying update it with YAST fails just saying "can not update the package".
So the default OO version of SUSE 10.0 is used.
All the fonts i use in my presentation are known to Windows (Arial, Times New Roman and Bitstream charter). |

This is a problem for me with OO 2 Impress running on Windows 2000. The PPTs I create are textless when opened with Powerpoint from Office 97 on a different Windows 2000 machine.
