Printing Labels from spreadsheet data

That says it, really. I have a sheet, each row is one name, address, etc. I want to print lables based on this data.

How can I print this data onto A4 label sheets?

I've looked in Help, and can see how if I was to start again and build a data base.

Maybe a 3rd party prog?

I would appreciate a note if you can spare a thought.

First, in the first row of the spreadsheet add field names like Name, Address, etc. if not already there and save. Do File > New > Database. Select "CONNECT to exiting database" and select Spreadsheet in the drop down menu. On the next screen you can browse to the file and click Finish. You have just registered a new data source with OOo.

Now when you do File > New > Labels this data source and its data will be available in the Database, Table & Field boxes for your use.

This is what I would try:
Save your spreadsheet
File>New>Database
Wizzard step 1: open existing database, type: Spreadsheet
Wizzard step 2: point to your spreadsheet.
In the new database (which is a read-only datasource unless you edit the spreadsheet itself):
Notice which tables have been created from sheet-contents and named database-ranges.
Section "Reports": create new Report ...
Go through the steps of the wizzard. At the last step choose option: "Edit layout"
Editing the layout (page style) of the report, which is an ordinary writer document with linked database fields is beyond my knowlege. But you may find existing solutions at

The data of the odb-document come from your spreadsheet, which should not move. The writer-report is embedded within the odb-document, but you can save it as a standalone writer document.
